The Superintendent's Honors Banquet is an annual event that recognizes the academic top ten percent of graduating seniors.   Approximately 900 people attend the event, including over 300  honor students and their parents, principals, community leaders, and elected officials.

Primary underwriting of the event is provided by the Hamilton County Schools Fund for Excellence.  The Fund seeks support from the corporate community in order to help offset expenses.  Sponsors are acknowledged in the printed program and are invited to attend the event.
